Billing Cycle Information
The S & S Landscaping billing cycle bills for the services performed in the current month. Exceptions apply to commercial accounts. Invoices are therefore due at the end of each month. Payments received with a postmark of a later date will result in a penalty of $10.00 on accounts less than $100.00 and 10% on accounts greater than $100.00 on the following invoice. Invoices will arrive on the 15th of every month along with a self-addressed payment envelope. Invoice copies are not required with payment, only put invoice number on payment itself.
Rain Schedule
Through out the industry it is standard operation practices not to perform maintenance on a day labeled as a “wet day”. Those are days described as over saturated by previous nights downfall or days of actual rain. Usually, our judgment is made the day of service, and is mostly affected by the critical hours of 6:30 am to 10:00 am. Although, the previous night may also have some affect on this decision. There are many reasons for this, but for the most part is to preserve the look of your lawn and landscape. Not only can there be damaged caused by the wet conditions, but there are also major clean-up issues as well. Therefore, if your service day falls on a day that is what we consider saturated or during actual rainfall, there will be no service performed. This is a way of protecting ourselves from any kind of damage that could be done. For those who are wondering if that day will be made up or compensated; think about the four to five months throughout the year that maintenance work will be performed five times in a month, but the billing remained the same. We will assure to you that the regular routine that it takes to create a properly maintained landscape will not be disturbed.
